• Supporting companies in transforming the challenges of the energy transition into opportunities through local networks and synergy effects.
• Representing the interests of its members and associated sectors vis-à-vis politics and administration.

Thematic focus areas

ThEEN's range of activities covers the entire field of transformation technologies (in particular products and services for energy systems) and energy infrastructure.

The following thematic priorities are addressed in the form of innovation spaces, i.e. by adapting the formats to the needs of the members:

1. Efficient energy supply and technology in production
2. Heating technologies
3. Control of energy systems / energy management
4. Transformation and stakeholder processes and know-how transfer

Fields of action

• Networking opportunities and information events in various formats to facilitate the exchange of interests and know-how and to initiate the development of innovative ideas.
• Cross-industry cooperation, in particular to involve the target groups of the respective thematic focus areas, both in Thuringia and in supra-regional markets.
• Support in setting up project consortia to develop innovations using funding opportunities and monitoring the projects.
• Establishing suitable internal ThEEN formats for the long-term and continuous development of specialist topics.
• Providing support at the interface with politics and administration and with regard to outreach.
• Addressing the need for skilled workers due to current urgency and forecasts.
