ThEEN coordinates the individual activities of the association in regard to politics and public relations of Thuringia, and it also promotes the exchange of experience and cooperation in the field of renewable energy, energy storage and energy efficiency.
Our advisory board represents all five associations of the renewable energy sector. Those associations (Working Group of the Thuringia Hydroelectric Power Plants; German Wind Energy Association; Geothermal Association of Thuringia; Biogas Association and Thuringian Solar Energy Association) have been pushing for the establishment of ThEEN, and together they have also increased the strength of the renewable energy sector in Thuringia.
